Having a child for another family, may be one of the most selfless gifts a woman could give to anyone. Gestational surrogates are compensated for the risks they take on , but for most surrogates, they find the emotional rewards to be much greater and deeper than they could ever imagined.
How does this process work?
Gestational surrogates are not genetically related to the child. Instead, the egg is removed from the mom-to-be or an egg donor and fertilized with sperm to create an embryo. The embryo is then placed inside the uterus of the gestational surrogate.
Yvision requires all of our Surrogate Angels to complete a strict, detailed screening process which is completed before they can be added to our Giving Angel data se.
Screening Process:
- Extensive Application
- Telephone Interview
- In-person Interview
- Home visits and criminal background check
- Psychological evaluation
- Medical screening and examination
